This collection marks an evolution in my practice—from structured, geometric patterns to a more intuitive, nature-attuned approach. Inspired by the organic art form of woodgrain, I began to loosen the structure of methodical processes and relax into the guidance of the wood’s natural texture. What emerged was a spontaneous, harmonious connection between my inner creativity and the world around me. Working with a rapid-drying medium on absorbent wood matched the urgency of my ideas, allowing me to paint in quick, expressive bursts. This body of work has invited me to think less and feel more—deepening my relationship with both material and environment.
